Sapporo Clock Tower

The Sapporo Clock Tower was built in 1878 as a demonstration hall for Sapporo Agricultural College, the predecessor of Hokkaido University. Since then, it has been ticking away the time for about 130 years. It is designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
