Asahidake ropeway connects the foot station (1100m above sea level) to the fifth station (1600m above sea level) of Asahidake, the main peak of the Daisetsuzan mountain range.
Asahidake, and the 101-passenger gondola takes you on a 10-minute aerial walk. Asahidake, and you can enjoy the magnificent nature of the mountain. In top season, the ropeway runs for about 15 minutes at a time.
The fifth station of the ropeway is a high alpine zone with a lot of highland plants in bloom, and there is a one-hour round trip around the Sugatami Pond. From there, the trail leads to the summit of Asahidake (旭岳).

The dynamic mountain skiing surrounded by coniferous forests and other natural features is a great place to enjoy skiing.
