Anne of Green Gables House
Prince Edward Island is famous as the island of "Anne of Green Gables" in eastern Canada.
Anne's home, Green Gables, was recreated on the island where Montgomery was born and where she lived in the idyllic countryside.
This municipal park faithfully recreates the rural landscape of 19th century Canada, the setting of the immortal Anne of Green Gables.
Anne’s House, Kensington Station, Anne’s Church, and other buildings that appear in the novel are located in the park, and the bedroom, living room, and kitchen are reproduced indoors as they were in 1908, the year the story was published, and their furnishings.
